Service Appointments

Scheduling

Service appointments can be scheduled by phone at (781) 456-3468 or through our online booking system. We strive to accommodate your preferred appointment times but cannot guarantee specific time slots during peak periods.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in service fees.

Pricing and Payment

Service Call Fee

A diagnostic service call fee applies to all appointments. This fee covers the technician's visit, diagnosis, and estimate. The service call fee may be applied toward the cost of repair if you proceed with our recommended service.

Estimates

After diagnosis, we provide a written estimate for the recommended repair. Estimates include parts and labor costs. Actual costs may vary if additional issues are discovered during repair.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and checks. For significant repairs, partial payment may be required before ordering special parts.

Warranty on Repairs

Parts and Labor Warranty

All repairs performed by Sub-Zero Repair Wellesley include a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and manufacturer defects in replacement parts.

Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • Issues unrelated to the original repair
  • Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear
  • Damage from power surges, floods, or other external factors
  • Appliances that have been serviced by others after our repair

Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period. We will schedule a follow-up visit to assess the issue. If the problem is covered under warranty, we will repair it at no additional charge.

Parts and Materials

We use genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts whenever possible. In cases where OEM parts are unavailable or significantly delayed, we may recommend high-quality aftermarket alternatives with your approval. Used or refurbished parts are only installed with your explicit consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sub-Zero Repair Wellesley shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of food, income, or use of appliance beyond the repair cost
  • Damages resulting from pre-existing conditions not caused by our service
  • Damages exceeding the total amount paid for the service

Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe access to the appliance for our technician
  • Remove items from refrigerators/freezers if requested for service access
  • Inform us of any known hazards or special conditions at the service location
  • Be present or have an authorized adult present during service appointments
