Sub-Zero Ice Maker Repair
In-freezer ice modules and stand-alone clear ice machines, including units plumbed into older houses with long, cold supply runs. Typical causes are fill valves, water lines, moulds, ejector assemblies and filters that were changed without being purged.

The valve buzzed away but nothing filled. He checked pressure at the shutoff, which was partly closed, then replaced the valve anyway because the solenoid was dragging. No trouble with it since.

Cubes were fusing into one solid block in the bin. He explained the compartment had been running a shade warm and letting them refreeze. Temperature corrected, mould cleaned, and no more icebergs.

Output dropped right off after we changed the filter ourselves. Air in the line, and the filter head cracked from over tightening. New head, and it produces.
